Shipping & Returns
This page sets out the conditions applicable to shipping, delivery times, returns, and the right of withdrawal for orders placed on the website www.mazzaroti.com.
1. Shipping
1.1. Shipping Areas
Mazzaroti ships orders to:
- Mainland Portugal
- Madeira and Azores (Portugal)
- European Union
- International destinations
1.2. In-Stock Items
Items that are in stock are shipped after payment confirmation, with the following estimated delivery times (business days):
- Mainland Portugal: up to 3 business days
- Portugal (Madeira and Azores): 4 to 5 business days
- Europe: 4 to 8 business days
- Rest of the world: 6 to 10 business days
1.3. Made-to-Order Items
Items sold made to order are subject to an estimated preparation time of 12 to 15 business days, to which the delivery time applicable to in-stock items is added, depending on the shipping destination.
1.4. Nature of Delivery Times
All delivery times provided are estimates only.
Mazzaroti shall not be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, including but not limited to:
- Shipping carriers
- Customs authorities
- Local authorities
- Force majeure events
1.5. Shipping Method
Orders are shipped via external carriers, carefully selected to ensure the safe transport of items.
Where available, tracking information may be provided by the carrier.
1.6. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are displayed during the checkout process, prior to final order confirmation, and vary according to:
- Destination
- Weight and volume of the order
- Selected shipping method
2. Delivery Inspection
Customers should carefully inspect their order upon delivery.
If the package shows visible damage, the customer must:
- Refuse the delivery or record the issue with the carrier
- Contact Mazzaroti within 24 hours of receipt at monicasantos@mazzaroti.com
3. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
3.1. Legal Period
In accordance with applicable consumer law, the customer has 14 consecutive days from the date of receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, without the need to provide a reason.
3.2. Conditions for Accepting Returns
To be eligible for return, items must:
- Be in the same condition as when shipped
- Show no signs of use, washing, wear, or alteration
- Include original tags, accessories, boxes, dust bags, and original packaging, where applicable
- Be properly packaged for return
Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return.
3.3. Return Exclusions
In accordance with applicable law, the right of return may not apply to:
- Personalized or customized items
- Other items that are legally non-returnable
4. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, the customer must:
- Contact Mazzaroti in advance via monicasantos@mazzaroti.com, indicating the order number
- Await return instructions
- Ship the item within the specified timeframe
Returns made without prior contact may not be accepted.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise stated:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- If the return is due to an error attributable to Mazzaroti, return costs will be covered by Mazzaroti
6. Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method used for the purchase, whenever possible.
Mazzaroti reserves the right to withhold the refund until the returned item is received or proof of return shipment is provided.
7. Luxury and Second-Hand Items
All items sold by Mazzaroti are:
- Authentic
- Carefully selected
- Transparently described regarding their condition
As luxury and/or second-hand items, minor signs of wear consistent with the stated condition do not constitute defects and are not valid grounds for return.
